Leo 2009 by Nellie McKinley
A busy year looms for Leo on the social front however avoid over committing yourself – surprises could loom on the relationship front so be on the lookout and give yourself time for developments to take place.
Be aware if you are in a relationship your partner may experience some stress from work pressures carried over from last year – make allowances if occasionally they seem tired and cranky – it will pass - look at the positives. Take a break from your usual routine as this is always good for any relationship and avoid point scoring as this is damaging.
On the career front don’t take on more than you can reasonably manage. Leo’s are often eager to please and while this may impress in the short term it can backfire. We all have an intuitive side so use it to consider carefully the impact that any extra work may impose on energy levels required to get the job done. If you are already are dealing with emotional issues in the workplace time to manage what you already have on your plate will be important – avoid complexity. In the likely event career opportunities present only take them up if you feel comfortable and it is in your best long-term interest and also is of benefit to your employer.
Depending on individual circumstances a budget review might be in order – if overspending has become the norm, (this is not confined to Leos of course), and do something to prevent the situation deteriorating – spend less than you earn and use the difference to accumulate some savings. Don’t wipe out all luxuries – just say no to extravagant spending more often.
The old saying espoused by our parents – ‘look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves’, will undoubtly resonate in a lot of minds during 2009.
Family matters, on balance, appear favourably aspected in the Leo sign for 2009 especially if unnecessary risk is minimized around finances and property. Avoid costly home renovations or taking on high rental properties as it would be easy to overextend in the current economic climate – the best course of action would be to approach commitment to these expenses cautiously, again exercising intuitive questioning – like – does this make sense for me.
Financial matters don’t become precarious when budgets are stuck to and a little frugality can help build a nest egg over time – there is nothing like the peace of mind money in the bank generates especially if you have a family to care for.
