On 20th December Uranus will be firmly ensconced in this house for the next 7 years. What does this mean for Tiger??  The emphasis is on how satisfying he finds his existing relationship. This feeling doesn’t just happen overnight and Tiger may have already been feeling some dissatisfation and distraction or frustration leading up to this point.

It doesnt necessarily indicate the end of the realtionship, but rather a period where certain adjustments need to be made by both partners, and what issues need to be  addressed and worked through. Often it can signify a time when it is the other person is bringing an end to the relationship.

Tiger also has Uranus making an exact square to his moon.  This difficult aspect results in a tendency to make some pretty drastic changes in one’s personal domestic life and suggest s his wife may be acting in a irrational and unstable manner and bringing  certain things to a head to be examined and dealt with .

Neptune the planet of Illusions is also at odds with Tiger’s Venus - the planet of  love and realtionships. Often the tendency is to lose oneself in another and in Tiger’s case it suggests  he may have fallen victim to the rose coloured glasses syndrome where you only see what you want, and in some way may be idealising someone unrealistically, only to see the light when the transit passes.

Often it suggest the relationship with another is based on an illusion and or deception. To add to the already challenging aspect comes the cosmic cop of astrology Saturn to do his number on Tiger - meaning he has to be accountable and shoulder responsibility. Saturn will be squaring Tiger’s Sun for the next 10 months so he will be carrying a heavy load. His confidence may be under par, and this may effect his golf. In fact he may not even enjoy the sport for a period of time as he finishes up demonstrating his abilities  externally and shifts his focus onto his private and personal needs. He will need to repriotize his life and to take responsibility for himself -something that he now seems to be aware of.

Pluto the planet of transformation is also heading towards his Capricorn Sun so Tiger is confronting a very powerful period of change. Certain situations are being purged and resolved, bringing about greater maturity, strength and discrimination.  His basic identity is undergoing a major change.

2010 will see Tiger enter a personal year 9 which indicates closure and competion - an ending of certain things in his life. he completion of a cycle which allows changes to occur in areas that need to be terminated. Tiger needs to be strong and focused so he can committ to allowing the changes to occur without resistance.

The current incidence surrounding Tigers personal life are engendering world-wide interest  because of his profile: And so from an astrological perspective we can glean some useful insigts as to why this is occurring and how the cycles of life and transits effects each and every one of us regardless of who we are and what we have achieved.

Although stubborn the Ox is very fair-minded and due to the qualities of reliability this sign is often entrusted with positions of authority and responsibility.

In times of upheaval the Ox is able to influence the restoration of order and harmony.

A person of this sign is very dedicated and tenacious and able to achieve positive outcomes in any endeavours undertaken. As the year progresses the attainment of prosperous conditions will be fortified by the Ox qualities for – hard work, a calm approach and a methodical implementation of what is required to get things done.

The year of the Ox will see the prospects of more peace and harmony in the world and a yearning for a healing to take place from the wounds of the past. This cycle can be a rebuilding from the catastrophes of damage inflicted over the past few years – like Tsunamis, regional conflicts, drought and famine and even economic and social damage.

On the global economic front a sense of conservatism and monetary caution will likely prevail during this year of the Ox.

There will be a united front by world leaders to solve problems in a manner that they have not previously embraced – we have seen the embryonic stages of the change to solve global problems as leaders have come together more honesty and transparently.

The only real way to rebuild the economies of the world is for trust and goodwill to be the exercised by world leaders – this cycle will in turn engender more trust and confidence from the people in their leaders.

The year of the Ox is time to be introspective and reflective and to use this period to refuel our weary minds.
